1. About Geonnect
Geonnect is a social connection app that helps users discover, connect, communicate, and share user-generated content with other users. Because Geonnect includes social features and user-generated content, all users must follow these Terms and our community safety standards.
2. Eligibility and Account Responsibility
You are responsible for the information you provide and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login details secure, and not use another person’s account without permission.
- You must follow all applicable laws while using Geonnect.
- You must not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
- You must not create accounts for harmful, abusive, deceptive, or illegal purposes.
- You are responsible for content, posts, messages, images, and profile information you submit.
3. Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Users
Geonnect has zero tolerance for objectionable content, abusive behavior, harassment, exploitation, or unsafe activity. Users who violate these rules may have their content removed, features restricted, account suspended, or account permanently deleted.
Prohibited content and behavior includes:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, stalking, or abusive behavior.
- Hate speech, discrimination, or attacks based on protected characteristics.
- Sexually explicit content, nudity, sexual solicitation, or sexual exploitation.
- Child sexual abuse material, child sexual exploitation, grooming, or any sexualized content involving minors.
- Violence, threats of violence, graphic harm, self-harm encouragement, or dangerous behavior.
- Spam, scams, fraud, impersonation, phishing, or deceptive activity.
- Illegal content, illegal goods or services, or content that promotes illegal activity.
- Content that invades privacy, exposes personal information, or encourages doxxing.
- Content intended to exploit, manipulate, or harm vulnerable people.
4. User-Generated Content
Geonnect may allow users to create profiles, upload photos, create posts, send messages, and share other user-generated content. You retain responsibility for the content you submit.
By posting or uploading content, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not violate these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or the rights of any other person.
Geonnect may review, restrict, remove, or moderate user-generated content if we believe it violates our rules, creates safety risks, or is required by law.
5. Content Filtering and Moderation
Geonnect uses a combination of user reports, blocking tools, review processes, and moderation measures to help reduce objectionable content and abusive behavior.
- We may remove content that violates these Terms or our community safety standards.
- We may restrict visibility of content while it is being reviewed.
- We may suspend or remove accounts involved in abusive, unsafe, or prohibited activity.
- We may use automated or manual review methods to detect spam, abuse, or unsafe content.
- We may preserve and report serious violations to appropriate authorities where required by law.
6. Reporting Objectionable Content
Users can report objectionable posts, profiles, messages, or behavior using the in-app reporting tools. Reports are reviewed by the Geonnect team and may result in content removal, account restriction, suspension, or permanent account deletion.
Examples of report reasons may include harassment, hate speech, sexual or inappropriate content, spam, scam, violence, child safety concerns, impersonation, or other unsafe behavior.
If you see content or behavior that violates these Terms, please report it inside the app or contact us using the contact details below.
7. Blocking Abusive Users
Geonnect provides a mechanism for users to block abusive users. When a user is blocked, the blocked user and their content may be removed from the blocking user’s experience, including feeds, nearby-user results, profile views, and interaction areas where applicable.
Blocking may also notify Geonnect’s moderation team so the reported behavior or content can be reviewed. We may take additional action against the blocked or reported account if it violates these Terms.
- Blocked users may be prevented from contacting or interacting with the user who blocked them.
- Content from blocked users may be removed from the blocker’s feed immediately.
- Blocking does not prevent Geonnect from reviewing the reported activity for safety enforcement.
8. Child Safety and Sexual Exploitation Policy
Geonnect strictly prohibits child sexual abuse material, child sexual exploitation, grooming, sexualization of minors, or any content or behavior that harms or exploits children.
If we identify content or behavior involving child sexual abuse or exploitation, we may remove the content, disable the account, preserve evidence where legally required, and report the matter to appropriate authorities or child-safety organizations as required by applicable law.
9. Enforcement Actions
If a user violates these Terms, Geonnect may take one or more of the following actions:
- Remove or restrict the content.
- Limit the visibility of the user’s profile or posts.
- Disable messaging, posting, or other features.
- Suspend the account temporarily.
- Permanently delete or ban the account.
- Report serious violations to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.

11. Account Deletion
Users may initiate account deletion inside the Geonnect app. When an account deletion request is completed, Geonnect will delete or anonymize the user’s account information and associated personal data, except where retention is required or permitted by law, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we may notify users through the app, by email, or by updating the effective date on this page. Continued use of Geonnect after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
